Arcade Fire, Lou Reed join Peter Gabriel covers album

Among the artists who will contribute songs to Peter Gabriel covers album are Arcade Fire, Bon Iver and David Byrne.

The album “And I’ll Scratch Yours” a returned favor after Gabriel released an album called “Scratch My Back” that covered songs by Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, Radiohead and David Byrne.

All but two of the artists featured on Gabriel’s album will return the favor in “And I’ll Scratch Yours.” Joseph Arthur and Feist were added, replacing Radiohead and Neil Young.

“And I’ll Scratch Yours” will be released on Sept. 23.
